Le Moyne College provides both national and international service learning opportunities for students, faculty and staff. Campus Ministry sponsors Alternative Breaks, a program that calls for students to devote their time off from school to community service works such as building a home for Habitat for Humanity. Students involved in Alternative Breaks also put the Jesuit ideals of service into action through the program called Projects in the Community. In the past few years, the Alternative Break Program has sent students to Kenya, New Orleans and Ecuador to take part in various acts of service and goodwill.
